Oppression is not everlasting, even within the most oppressive of regimes.
The green revolution emanated from a deep sentiment of discontent with the result of the Iranian elections; just like the Cedar revolution started with the assassination of Rafik al Hariri. In both cases, and without prior notice; people took to the streets and voiced their discontent. In March of 1979 Ayatollah Khomeini changed the face of Iran. Today, 30 years later, the people of Iran are attempting to say “enough is enough, now is the time for change”. Just like in Lebanon, after 30 years of Syrian hegemony, the people took to the streets and said: “enough is enough, now is the time for change”.
They have Mahmoud Ahmadinajad, and we have Hassan Nasrallah. They have NEDA SULTANI, and we have RAMZI IRANI. Their struggle is a couple of weeks old, and ours has been going on for over 4 years.
This is a call for all Lebanese, and especially those whose voice and opinions (and yes, this also concern you, you ORANGE pricks) muffled (under torture) for years; to support in any way you can, the cause of our brothers and sisters in Iran. Representatives of the (so called Cedar Revolution) have won the majority in the elections. Now is a golden opportunity for you (bunch of nitwits)to show Lebanese, Iranians, the world, and the independent Shia your refusal to “Dawlit Al Fakih”. Organize a PEACEFUL march in condemnation of Hizbullah’s masters who are UNLAWFULLY killing those who can make a change in Iran, hence maybe reducing some of your local evil’s influence and might.
Wlek, people of Lebanon react, embrace this newly born cry for freedom that is coming from one of the most defiant regimes we know today; for you are not alone in your corner of the world.
A grim reminder, to be watched with caution.

The day of reckoning is at hand!
A self inflicted slumber caused by great disgust and desperation, I had to seek shelter in music in order to appease my anger. I have become one with those I have long criticized and labeled LEBANESE (the silent majority); for I became silent for a while.
Granted the booby trapped cars have stopped (for now), we have a president (who turned out to be a jet setter), Geagea made his peace with those he inflicted pain upon and redeemed himself (as a new found Christian), the demented general visited Iran as an ambassador of true Christian tolerance (so his followers truly believe), goatee Saad met with the incarnation of evil and shook hands (forgetting about May 7th), our government rejoiced to the idea of the long awaited opening of the Syrian embassy on our SOVEREIGN land (still no word as to those rotting in Syrian jails), Riad Salame telling us that all is well in Lebanon (with regards to the world economical crisis, and many believed), ...etc.
Mea culpa, for once again I have indulged in self pity and the notion that “one hand alone cannot clap”.
Never too late they say, and I agree; for one hand alone can clap when slapped against one’s cheek. And this is my rude awakening.
To this silent majority I adhered to I say: “wake up from your coma; once again you have picked the short straw”. If ever you believed in the Cedar Revolution now is the time to rebel against those who are selling you and your country for electoral gains. Hold all 14th of March representatives accountable for their failed promises and the concessions they willingly gave to those whose vision is in contradiction of a free Lebanon (March 8).
Tattle tales you have been fed in the local news of reconciliations and better days to come; do you still believe in those false promises? Did any of you ask why :
*Sarko’s head is shoved up so far up Bashar’s arse?
*Syria is so keen on establishing its embassy before the local elections?
*Aoun visited Iran?
*Iran offered to help re-arm the Lebanese army?
*14th of March leaders haven’t met for a while a came up with a common press release?
*The electoral law fell short of ALL expectations?
*Belmar is taking his time?
*Syria is suddenly anxious to have a grip on border security?
*...etc
I am a simple man with simple aspirations, but I cannot help but fear the worst; for I have lived deceit and paid dearly.
Fucked we are, and always will be; for as long as we sit idle and watch. We are not deserving people; this holy land of ours was entrusted into our care, and we have failed. The day of reckoning is at hand!
TFEH !

Dumb and Dumber !
Tueini called for Saniora’s honorable retreat, Edde broke clean from M14 coalition, Kassem pointed his finger and reinstated the need for Hizbullah’s arms, Syria will fully cooperate (with IAEA), Israel undertook maneuvers aimed at hitting nuclear targets, USA and Iraq are in disagreement, ceasefire (for 6 months) is in place between Hamas and Israel in Gazza …etc; and Lebanon is fucked once again.
While our politicians are still squabbling about who gets the bigger share of the milking cow (the governmental institutions), geopolitics are once again changing. A “new found Christian” is trying his best to leave the white house with a shred of dignity (having fucked up royally in most of his foreign policies, especially Iraq), a head of a murderous oppressive regime (who recently was awarded the symbol of non-violence) back peddling in order to avoid the wrath of the above mentioned ˝new found Christian “, a mother country (mére patrie) attempting to relive it’s glory days within the “pays du Levant” by inviting Bashar to celebrate the commemoration of 14th of July (liberté, egalité, fraternité).
The Cedar Revolution has been filed along with most unresolved cases of power abuse, self enrichment, theft, breach of constitution, political murders…etc, under the pretext of avoiding civil strife (newly found excuse). Leaders from the wide spectrum of Lebanese political life took turns in justifying to their “flock” the stand which they all claim is the only salvation.
Even in the mind of the dumbest of the dumb, some questions should have been raised about such a change.
But NO.
The talk is all about the summer season, the 1.5 million tourists scheduled to come (ex-pats included), and the dollars Lebanon will reap.
In the US one can ;when push comes to shove, claim the 5th; in Lebanon we have a wider choice: Selective memory, fait accompli, no other alternative, lesser of two evils….etc; and most of all “wlek hayda Libnan”!
A million (debatable, remember “zoom I and zoom out?”) took to the streets in 2005 (when demonstrations where deemed illegal) in order to make their voice and aspirations heard. This same crowd FORCED the Syrian army to withdraw with it’s tail up Bashar’s ass. This very same crowd took down Karame’s cabinet.
Where is this crowd now?
Probably still waiting for our ROTTEN political class to dictate their moves, when it suits their own personal purpose/enrichment.
Fellow Lebanese, Jeff Daniels (Dumb and Dumber) has a higher IQ than all of you put together.
You truly deserve to live under the Syrian boot !

R.I.P Lebanon
It is now official, Lebanon has been sold by what was supposed to be its protectors.
The powers of M14 have surrendered to the "divine" power. Evil has conquered!
PEOPLE OF THE CEDAR REVOLUTION REVOLT, OR LIVE IN SHAME !
LEBANON HAS CEASED TO EXIST !
PEOPLE OF LEBANON RECLAIM YOUR LAND, FOR IT HAS NOW BEEN INFESTED BY EVIL AND COWARDLY WARLORDS.
SAY NO TO HIZBOLLAH, TO THIS SOLD OUT GOVERNMENT, TO THOSE OUTSIDE POWERS WHO DID NOT DELIVER ON THEIR PROMISES (YET AGAIN), AND TO THOSE WHO ARE STILL BANKING ON THEM (OUTSIDE POWERS).
PEOPLE OF LEBANON REVOLT, BURN TIRES, ERECT BARRICADES, CLOSE DOWN MEDIA OUTLETS....ETC, FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE.
THE CEDAR REVOLUTION WAS TONIGHT EXECUTED BY THOSE WHO CLAIM STARTED IT. PEOPLE OF LEBANON NOW IS THE START OF YOUR YOUR FIGHT FOR SURVIVAL AND THE FIGHT FOR TRUE INDEPENDENCE. Act or be damned!
148000 DEAD IN 15 YEARS OF "CIVIL WAR" AND OVER 100 IN THE (NOW SUCCESSFUL) COUP D'ETAT, FOR WHAT? SURRENDER?
SHAME ON YOU SO CALLED LEADERS AND PROTECTORS OF DEMOCRACY!
TODAY I PISS AND SHIT ON THE GOVERNMENT AND I CALL UPON MY OWN JIHAD, THAT OF ALL THE LEBANESE, AND ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO DO NOT RELATE TO ANY OTHER TERMINOLOGY !
BURN ME AT THE STAKE, STONE ME, OR EVEN CRUCIFY ME; MY VOICE WILL NOT BE SILENCED!
