Qui a le droit

Your beliefs; as strong as they can be, are yours and only yours. They are not shared by many, and most of all are refused by many (and I am one of them). Maybe in your sick and twisted evil mind you have the conviction that you hold some divine power that renders you immortal; look around you, death is everywhere.
And you, you sit securely in your bunker ordering more destruction and causing mayhem. Who gave you the right to act in my name? I am Lebanese and condemn your actions. My country is being destroyed, my economy run deeper into the ground; and you have the audacity to speak of a just cause. You have embarked us on a losing battle, one not only we can never win; but cannot afford to wage, and yet you appear on TV as arrogant as ever. Granted the ferocity of the reaction to your actions is not justified, but you brought this wrath upon us. Go back to the master puppeteers that pull your strings and take your party with you. Lebanon does not need this kind of evil. I believe in Allah, and yes Allah is great and one day soon he will make you pay a very high price for all the suffering you have inflicted upon us.

Dear Bouzo,

Although French educated (high school level that is) I find myself most at ease expressing myself in English, for that I ask for your forgiveness. I have had my fare share of speeches and slogans from 1975 until the present day. I have finally come to the conclusion that in order for Lebanon to arise from the ashes; Lebanese have to speak their minds with no fear of repercussion. No it is not Jebneh Khadra, but Hashisheh that those people were, and many others were relying upon and exporting as mean to sustain themselves. I call it as I see it. I revert back to history and look upon the contributions most sects had to offer to this Biblical land; and yes it is a Biblical land. I ask myself, where did Nasrallah and his look-alikes come from? Where is written that the state of Lebanon is an Islamic or Christian country?
Lebanon since its institution was the first democracy in an area surrounded by dictatorship and oppressive monarchies ruled by minorities. Lebanon was, and somehow is still the only country within the middle east whereby people from all beliefs have equal say (unlike Egypt for example where the Christians can not even erect churches. Let alone Saudi Arabia). I do not want to be associated with a world Arabo-musulman, nor do I want to be associated with a westernized world. I want to be part of the only multi confessional part of the world where an opinion can be voiced with no repercussion. I am a true believer of Esperanto.
At the same time, I am aware of the difference that exists between most Lebanese and Nasrallah’s followers, a difference of EDUCATION.
